In 2019, The Nature Conservancy partnered with the US Forest Service and the US Fish and Wildlife Service to replace a set of 2 corrugated metal culverts that were severe barriers to aquatic organism passage in the Chattahoochee National Forest. The project on Mill Creek at Rocky Flats was funded by the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation and the Lyndhurst Foundation, with contributions from the US Forest Service and construction conducted by the Southeastern Fish Passage Team. Pond and Co. completed the project design and the structure was purchased from ConTech.
